From Messina (or from Catania), get on the A18 highway (Messina-Catania) and exit at the Giardini Naxos tollbooth. Proceed towards Francavilla di Sicilia and follow the directions for Gole Alcantara.
Continue on state road ss185 for about a kilometer, pass the Petrolo bridge until you reach the left turn for Mitogio. Take the side street and pass the bridge crossing the river. Turn left, the resort is immediately after the turn.
From the Fontanarossa di Catania Airport, take provincial road 70 and head towards Catania’s beltway (or tangenziale) continuing for Messina along highway A18. Exit at the Giardini Naxos tollbooth and follow the directions stated under ‘By car’.
